The Kel-Tec serial numbers are a modified 34base. I know the letters means it is not one of the really old ones, but no one seems to be wiling to says what year they changed, every single place I look insists that you call them.I'd say buy the gun, if it is under $250, not torn up, and fully functional. Double strike capability, good capacity for the size, easy to use, no safety to deal with, and the letter guns have an 8.5 lb trigger NIB, which may become lighter with use.that is better than many DA revolvers out there.
