You get a gold star! Ace was burned when his devil fruit was shut off effectively making him a normal human. If his devil fruit is functioning; which can only be circumvented with Fishman Karate, the sea, Magma, or Haki, then he is immune to heat.

The only thing that absolutely is true is that he is immune to fire, however, He merely has a resistance to heat. Resistance, not immunity.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Chief would pull the win over Cap, it's just the only fight we got between the two of them was fan-vote based on SuperPowerBeatDown, and it's viewers acted as if it was legitimate. Plus Sabo did a lot more training that was more difficult and unlike Ace, Sabo had the best of the Revolutionary Army be his mentors from a very young age. +Flackstar The main difference between Aokiji and Gray is that Aokiji's powers are so strong it changes the very foundation of weather around an entire area. Half of an island was a constant non stop blizzard that would never end. Gray's powers are strong but they are not strong enough to permanently alter the weather. I also really appreciate that they included what happens in the manga when talking about Natsu. P.S did they even mention that Ace can't swim? That would have been a pretty interesting part of the fight if the added each of their weakness's (moving vehicles and water).

However, I was really hoping that the fight would be instigated by Natsu hunting down the Straw Hats for killing Erza, and pulling the 'I'm gonna make you pay for what you did to my friends' card. It would be out of character for him to actively try and kill Ace. But, it would be completely in character if he wound up committing First Degree Manslaughter (in this context, accidentally killing Ace when he was only trying to maim him). Long story short, I found this battle extremely cathartic. May outlook on the battle may imply that a blood feud would be forming between Fairy Tail and the Straw Hats, but. Considering the lack of inhibition the Straw Hats display in fighting for their friends, I would say that it isn't out of the realm of possibility.
Especially since these two groups are on opposite sides of the law. (BTW, Fairy Tail is not a group of mercenaries.
They're closer to a legally-funded group of vigilantes, except that their universe is full of groups like this) So, yeah. Natsu may be charged with First Degree Manslaughter, but Zoro flat out murdered Erza.
So, like I said, the books are balanced. They would be, that is, if Zoro got some comeuppance for killing Erza. Read the bit I did on my profile about Zoro for my uptake on that. 7 months ago The custom made sprites Jerky was talking about kicked ass. I loved the way the fight was animated, and liked the type of Donkey Kong shadowy part of the fight. Animating Fire King Dragon Mode was awesome to see, and that death, oh boooooy. But yeah, glad to see Natsu pulled a win out for this one, Fire does conduct electricity after all, and that's something Ace has never been shown to resist.

Ace kept the fire grow stronger. This episode is a strong episode not because of the humor or the awesome animation of Jetz once more, but the pacing helped the audience introuded the fighters very well to those who never heard of them before. Thanks to Jetz for making once again mixing anime with 2D animation during the fight, making both a memorable death as well as his best one yet. The 'Next Time' was good as well, revealing once more both fighters which will 'Cool' down when the fight comes out.
Overall: Jetz best animation yet, with good humor, and great pacing makes this fight indeed a excellent episode for anime fans to watch. 9/10 Question For ScrewAttack: With GameAttack now going solo and departed with RoosterTeeth, will you guys do the same later on in the future? When one character can essentially completely nullify another's abilities, it's rather one sided when it gets down to it. The only way it wouldn't have been is if Natsu could only eat a certain amount of fire, which doesn't seem to be the case.

In his universe or against characters with other types of powers, it wouldn't make the victory one sided in his favor.
Against an opponent that uses fire based powers, however, it is essentially a guaranteed victory unless that opponent has other powers or can fight at Natsu's level without using said powers. Not complaining about the fight itself in the least, as it was enjoyable as always, nor about Death Battle's research or choice of having these two characters fight. This is honestly the only time I don't understand why people are downvoting my comment however, as I didn't say anything bad about the characters or shows, just that that one ability secured the victory from the start, given the situation. 7 months ago Glacius is a cryokinetic. This means that he can not only create ice, but he can control any existing ice, even Sub's. I've only ever seen Sub create ice, not manipulate existing ice.
Glacius is also part of a race of powerful telepaths who can adapt to their surroundings by bending molecular structures to their will, creating defensive shells around them at all times, and providing means of attack. In fact, not all of Glacius' kind uses ice. So, Sub's ice isn't going to do anything but provide Glacius more ammo and shields. Glacius doesn't freeze their opponents so we don't know his recovery time. He has other tricks and weapons like the teleport and use sai and kusarigama weapons.
Theoretically Subzero could teleport in close to pull off a strike. On the opposite side of that is that Glacius is skilled at environment control; controlling all ranges on the field.
It will be difficult for Subzero to land enough hits, despite his strength, to put Glacius down. 7 months ago Usagi Tsukino/Sailor Moon vs Diana Prince/Wonder Woman Since the Wonder Woman film is coming out (even though it will probobly suck considering all the DCEU films so far are awful, but still), I think it would be cool to see her again in another Death Battle, and who would be better than her anime counterpart, Sailor Moon? Yes, I know how hard Usagi stomps, but it's pretty much the female version of a certain infamous fight, only this time, the anime character gets to do the stomping. Seriously it's about time all learn of her universe+/low-Multiverse level power! Maybe she could fight Amaterasu from Okami if not Wonder Woman, but Sailor Moon and Wonder Woman has such perfect connections. Princesses, based on greek mythology, they are both gods, their arsenal of powers/weapons include a boomerang tiara, both have eternal youth, both originate from an ancient civilization, and are both parts of teams that contain godly beings. I know She-Ra is another choice for Diana to fight, but in all honesty all they have in common is 'princesses with swords and muscles'. There is She-Hulk but I think she should fight Power Girl. When it comes to similarities Usagi and Diana are perfect to have as a fight. Usagi has even been called the Wonder WOman of anime, just as Goku is often considered the Superman of anime, so there is that rivalry too.
Not as intense as the male one, but still.
